FIGHTING BODY FATS
Accumulation of excessive body fats is seen as problematic nowadays. This is the idea that is sweeping across the globe. People, especially women do a lot of crazy things in a bit to reduce body fats. This is why we now have training schools where people pay exorbitant
fees to get the body drilled through rigorous exercises, diet monitoring just to look fit.
The
truth is that accumulation of body fats have a lot of consequences such as
inactiveness in carrying out tasks, serious problems trying to find size of
clothes and shoes in the market, breathing problems, shyness which is common
among children and teenagers. Sometimes body odour, inability to walk or run
long distances, high rate of heartbeat, reduces the immune system of the body
to fight certain diseases and people sometimes see fat and obessed people as
people who eat too much, lousy and care less about their diet, while to some
people, it is excessive enjoyment.
Obesity,
which is accumulation of body fats is sometimes inherited through genes from
obessed parents or family members, this is natural. It is most often than not
caused by the type and quantity of foods that go through the mouth to the
stomach such as foods high in calories: too much of carbohydrates, fibres,
fatty foods and junks from fast food joints such as ice cream, cake, burger,
sealed foods and drinks etc. It can also be caused by inadequate exercises to
actually match the volume of consumption of food we eat
GREAT TIPS TO REDUCING BODY FATS

Exercise-
There are many great exercises to help burn body fats. These include
participating in games such as football, volleyball, basketball, running,
jogging and walking long distances. At home, you can also dance vigorously to
music for about 30 minutes to 1 hour each, making use of exercising machines
just to sweat and burn out calories from the body.

Change
Eating Pattern. The secret to a good eating pattern is-
‘eat like a king in the morning, eat like a prince in the afternoon and eat
like a slave at night’. This is because there is much bodily exercise during
the day time which results in much body metabolism and breakdown of calories.
Reduce the quality of your food by half especially for those who have problem
with obesity. To actually control your eating pattern, you should avoid
distractions when eating, think about your food while eating, eat slowly while
chewing very well and taking sips of water between bites.

Go
Natural than Artificial- stick to natural foods such as
fruits and vegetables. You can purposely plant fruit trees around your home to
augment the ones you buy. Trees such as Orange tree, cashew tree, mango tree,
paw-paw tree, lemon tree are not so difficult to plant even though some of them
actually take long time to grow. Feed on Vegetables such as Carrot, green leaf
vegetables, fruit salad etc. they contain essential nutrients for body growth
and development.

REDUCE
FATTY FOODS AND EXCESS CABOHYDRATES- When fatty foods are eaten
much, these fats go into the body and are stored under the skin which gives
rise to Obesity. Examples of fatty foods include noodles, animal fat, and too
much intake of groundnut oil. When serving carbohydrates, make it small. Eating
them without corresponding exercises leads to accumulation of fat.

STOP
OR REDUCE SUGARY FOODS/DRINKS- Most people who drink
beer are likely to be diabetic. It may surprise you to know that sugary drinks
can make one obese. Coca-cola, fanta, sprite, lacasera drinks are examples of
sugary drinks. Carbohydrates too such as rice, yam potatoes, maize contains
little amount of sugar. The way to reduce all these is by taking less sugary
drinks, take herbs such as ‘agbo jedijedi’ as Yoruba people call it or wash
bitter leaf thoroughly and extract the liquid and drink regularly. Stop adding
too much sugar to your tea, pap, garri, etc before taking.

BE
ACTIVE, ENGAGE IN MULTIFARIOUS ACTIVITIES. I have seen
people who are too lazy to do small stuff. They need somebody to do virtually
almost all what they themselves are supposed to do. Deliberately join others
when they are working, do house chores, walk around rather than seat in one
place. Even if you are in your office or work place, try to work around and get
involved in activities, this way, you will be reducing the amount of calories
in your body.0

HEALTHY SLIMMING TEAs. I have heard so many people saying it
is dangerous to use slimming tea. The truth is that there are some healthy
slimming teas that are even approved by NAFDAC. Examples are Tummy Fat reducing
Tea, Healthy Hour Fat Burner, Slimfy, Garcinia Cambogia etc which are available
in supermarkets and online shopping on Kaymu.
Finally,
reducing body fat and obesity is a choice, but do not forget that being obese
or overweight have certain implications that might be too difficult for us to
handle. Therefore, it is important for us to do something about it.
