Dog handler plots to poison pastor and his dog to have beauty queen wife all to himself

 

A dog handler was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping after plotting to kill a pastor and his dog in order to have sex with the pastor's wife, police in Nigeria said.

Lagos State Police said that Pastor Itua Ighodalo and his wife Ibidunni Ighodalo, are lucky to
be alive after a plot to kill him and kidnap her was uncovered at the last moment.


However, the couple’s dog was not so lucky.

24-year-old Abdul Kareem Mohammed, who was employed by the couple to walk their 4-month-old dog, poisoned the animal to death and planned to kill the pastor as well.

Mohammed enlisted the help of 29-year-old Paul Eke, who works as a security guard at the pastor’s home, and 36-year-old herbalist Makinde Ewuosi.

According to the police investigation, when the couple’s dog named Simba died, the pastor and his wife suspected foul play and immediately contacted the police, who confirmed that the animal was poisoned.

Mohammed, who watched the couple's dog, was arrested and taken for questioning. Mohammed confessed to poisoning the dog.

Mohammed told investigators that he had been fantasizing about having sex with the pastor’s wife, who was a former beauty queen, and plotted to kill the pastor so that he can fulfill his dreams and have sex with Ibidunni.

Mohammed also told police that he enlisted the help of Eke and Ewuosi. The suspects have been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Bail was set at N500,000 ($2,456) for each suspect.
