Consultations are continuing Sunday in Sudan to reach the formation of the government, four days after the date initially planned for the announcement of this new cabinet, which should mark one of the main stages of the post-Bashir transition.

Alexei Navalny: Jailed Russian opposition head develops 'allergy'

Russia's most prominent opposition figure, Alexei Navalny, has been taken from jail to a hospital in Moscow.
Officials gave no details of his condition but Mr Navalny's spokeswoman said he had had an allergic reaction with severe facial swelling - something she said he had not experienced before.

Work on production line of Boeing 737 Max ‘not adequately funded’

A former Boeing engineer has told the BBC that work on the production line of the 737 Max plane was not adequately funded.
The aircraft is currently grounded after two crashes which killed 346 people.
The 737 Max is the company's fastest selling plane and has earned the company billions of dollars in sales.

Dan Coats: US intelligence chief leaves Trump administration

The US director of national intelligence, Dan Coats, has become the latest high-profile figure to leave the Trump administration.
President Donald Trump tweeted Mr Coats would step down in mid-August and that he would nominate the Texan congressman John Ratcliffe to replace him.
He said Mr Ratcliffe would lead and "inspire greatness for the country" he loved.

Three people have been killed and 15 injured in a shooting at a food festival in California, local police have confirmed.
One gunman has been shot dead by police, although it is unclear whether there is a second suspect at large.
The Gilroy Garlic Festival was about to end for the weekend on Sunday evening, when shots were fired at the site.
