Upcoming Nigerian Artist

Edemba Afamefuna is an upcoming Nigerian Musical Artist with the swag and better known by his stage name "Gent Posh".

He was Born and raised in the vibrant city of Enugu, Nigeria. A graduate from the Institute Of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, with Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management. Hailing from Enugu State, Nigeria, he discovered his love for music at a young age and began writing songs when he was 15 years old. 

Gentposh was surrounded by the rich sounds of afrobeat, highlife, and hip hop, He was drawn to the power of music as a means of self-expression and connection.

From penning down his first lyrics in the margins of school notebooks back, then to performing at local talent shows and joints in the city. His journey as a musician has been one of passion and dedication. Influenced by legends like Fela Kuti, Celestine Ukwu, Tuface Idibia, 2Pac Shakur, and Osadebe, he has succeeded in crafting a sound that blends traditional Nigerian rhythms with modern influences, creating a unique musical style that is distinctly his own.

After honing his skills through years of writing, recording, and performing, he released his debut single, "Cast Them," in 2019, which resonated with audiences for its catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. After that, he released a joint EP titled "Audacity and Vibes" with an amazing artist called "Eskimr". Though the Extended Play wasn't promoted extensively due to some reasons but can be found in some online stores. Since then, he has been dedicated to sharing his music with the world, performing at various venues across Nigeria and connecting with fans who appreciate the authenticity and soulfulness of the sound.

Gentposh recently released his first ever debut album titled "Da Genesis" with 20 insightful and evocative sounds featuring lots of good upcoming artists.

As he continues to navigate the ups and downs of the music industry, he remain committed to staying true to himself and his roots, using his music as a platform to tell his story and uplift others.
