Gerry Adams backs Jeremy Corbyn as next PM

The outgoing Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams has praised Jeremy Corbyn and said he would like to see him become the next prime minister.
He was speaking to the BBC's Andrew Marr as he enters his final week as president of the party he has led for almost 35 years.
He said Mr Corbyn was an "outstanding politician" and that he and Ken Livingston "kept faith".
He also said he still believes a deal can be reached to restore Stormont.

Harry Hambley may only be 18 but he is the creative force behind an internet sensation.
His cartoon ketnipz - which features a "bean" character and his amusing musings on life - has 335,000 followers on Instagram and even features on tattoos by some of his fans.
Just 18 months after the Cardiff teenager posted his first cartoon on social media, he has his own clothing range and has collaborated with Instagram Stories on a ketnipz "kindness sticker".

Marine cuts would 'undermine UK security'

Cutting the number of Royal Marines and the ships they use to carry out beach landings would significantly undermine UK security, MPs have warned.
A government review which began last year has proposed axing up to 2,000 marines and the Royal Navy's two specialist landing ships.
But a Commons Defence Select Committee report said such cuts would be "militarily illiterate".
A MoD spokesman said "protecting the UK will always be our priority".

Serial sex attacker John Worboys is believed to have been moved back to a prison outside of London.
He was transferred to HMP Wakefield in West Yorkshire from HMP Belmarsh in south-east London, the Press Association reported.
It comes after the Prison Service faced a backlash when he was moved to the city where he committed his crimes.
His transfer also comes amid a legal challenge against the Parole Board's decision to release him.
The 60-year-old was jailed for a minimum term of eight years in 2009.
He was convicted of 19 offences and given an indeterminate sentence for public protection.

One man has died and another resident is critically injured after a fire and explosion at a care home.
Emergency crews were called to the blaze at Woodlands View care home in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, at 16:30 GMT on Saturday.
Hertfordshire County Council said there had been a "minor explosion" caused by an oxygen cylinder.
